WINCHESTER MODEL 64 .30WCF mfg. 1940…
Good morning all. The trend of nice used weapons continues today with an oldie. This Winchester Model 64 .30WCF (don’t worry, that’s 1940 speak for .30-.30) was manufactured in 1940 according to Winchester as verified by the serial number. This weapon was cared for and safed over the past 75 years. As you would expect, there is some light pitting on the metal butt plate, as well as on the lever and the bottom of the receiver but nowhere near enough for me to turn it away. The wood has some small gouges in it but overall is in excellent condition. The bluing has very light wear in all the right places. There were four variations made of the Model 64, and this one is the straight Carbine version with the 20″ barrel. If you are looking for a 64, you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer one at this age. Come see her. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
