Wheel Gun Wednesday 6/25/14…

Good morning all.  Today is definitely Wheel Gun Wednesday as we ended up getting some great new revolvers in.  These are all choice pieces in their own way, but let’s get started with a staple of Wheel Gun lovers which is the Smith & Wesson Model 686 Plus.  Smith & Wesson L-Frame revolvers are built to suit the demands of the most serious firearms enthusiast. This baby comes with the seven shot cylinder and is chambered in .357magnum.  She sports a 4″ barrel and is finished in Satin Stainless Steel.  The L-Frame revolvers have a strong, durable frame and barrel built for continuous Magnum usage. As police officers and hunters will attest, this firearm is made to withstand heavy use.  These weapons are extremely popular when you can find them.  For the quality you get from Smith, the price point will put a smile on your face.

 

Next, we have a Wheel Gun from Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center.  Performance Center by Smith & Wesson is where fit meets performance. From hand-cutting and fitting to precise fine-tuning, Performance Center firearms are top performers. Originating from standard designs or created from the ground up, Performance Center revolvers, hunting revolvers, pistols and modern sporting rifles are the ultimate expression of old-world craftsmanship and modern technology.  THESE WEAPONS ARE BACKED BY SMITH & WESSON LIFETIME SERVICE POLICY.  The Smith & Wesson Model 637 PC is a great little snub nose .38spl. She has a 1.875″ barrel and a 5 shot capacity.  The trigger on this weapon is Performance Center tuned and is very sweet for a small revolver.  She has beautiful custom wood stocks and a very reasonable price tag.

 

 

Lastly, we have a LIMITED TALO EDITION Wheel Gun from Ruger.  Meet the Ruger SP101X.  She is chambered in .357mag, has a 5 shot capacity, and a 2 1/4″ barrel.  The SP101X has black rubber grips with black wood inserts.  This weapon has an all steel frame with a stainless finish.  The SP101X is a new weapon for the shop and I can say that she has some weight to her for a smaller revolver which will help mitigate recoil if you decide to use .357mag rounds.  The fit and finish on this weapon is excellent and she is priced right.
