Hump day additions at the shop include Kel-Tec KSG and Sig Sauer PM400…
Good morning all. We have lots of nice additions to the shop inventory this morning. Hump day has to be good for something, right? Let’s get started. First, we have the Kel-Tec KSG shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with 14+1 capacity. The KSG weighs 6.9lbs and is as compact as legally possible with a 26.1″ overall length and an 18.5″ cylinder bore barrel. Even with this compact size, the internal dual tube magazines hold an impressive 6 rounds of 12 gage 3″ shells each, for a total capacity of 6+6+1 (7 per tube if using 2-3/4″ shells). The simple and reliable pump action feeds from either the left or right tube. The feed side is manually selected by a lever located behind the trigger guard. The lever can be positioned in the center detent in order to easily clear the chamber without feeding another round from either magazine. A cross bolt style safety blocks the sear, and the pump release lever is located in front of the trigger guard. The pump includes an under picatinny rail for the mounting of a forward grip, a light, or a laser. The included top picatinny sight rail will accept many types of optics or iron sights. Forward and rear sling loops are built in, and a basic sling is included. The soft rubber butt pad helps to tame recoil. The KSG receiver is made from hardened steel and includes the magazine tubes which have been welded in place. The grip and stock assembly is made of glass reinforced nylon (Zytel) and is easily disassembled by pushing out 2 pins, which store in 2 holes in the grip when removed. The barrel and pump assembly is removed by loosening the 2 front magazine tube nuts with a coin and sliding the assembly forward. What else needs to be said? 7 slugs and 7 rounds of buck shot plus one of your choice in the chamber equals a mighty deterrent.
Next, we have the Sig Sauer PM400 AR pistol with the SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace. Chambered in 5.56 with a total length of 28″ and a barrel length of 11″, she comes with a quad rail, Magpul MBUS rear sight and feeds from standard AR mags. The SB15 Pistol Stabilizing Brace is the component that keeps this weapon classified as a pistol and not an SBR. If you like the Sig Sauer M400 Rifle, you will want one of these pistols.
Next, we have the Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifles. Chambered in .22lr, this is the classic Ruger rifle with a twist. With the push of a release lever, this rifle breaks down into two pieces. Stock/receiver on one hand and barrel/foregrip in the other. They come with a rugged carrying case a standard 10rd rotary magazine, but will accept the BX-25 magazines that have a 25rd capacity. A great first rifle if you are teaching your boy or girl to shoot, or a great camping/survival rifle as the carrying case is easy to transport. All around great rifles.
Last, but not least, we have the Sig Sauer P238 Scorpion Edition.
