Walther Q5 Match 9mm on 5/6/16…

Happy Friday All!!!  Today brings a new competition sidearm from Walther into the shop in the PPQ Q5 Match 9mm.  The new Q5 Match from Walther is built for the production class competitive shooter. Built around the award winning PPQ platform, the Q5 Match features an optics ready slide that comes with a Trijicon RMR, Leupold Delta Point, and Docter Optics ready mounting plate in addition to the standard competition iron sights already included. Coupled with a ported slide, Carl Walther signature ergonomics, and a blue quick defense trigger, the Q5 is the firearm that gives you match performance in a production class firearm.  Now that the corporate description of the gun is over….I can tell you that this weapon has one of the nicest triggers and nicest trigger reset of an out of the box weapon you will ever see.  It will put a smile on even the biggest trigger snobs face.  The grip ergonomics are outstanding and the weapon is extremely well balanced.  The Q5 Match looks like it will be a thorn in the side of a lot of companies in that make production class competition weapons.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
