Vigilance Tactical Awareness Training

Good evening all.  You’re finding me in my happy evening zone with a MacBook in front of me and a glass of scotch sitting next to it.  It’s taken me a couple of days to digest the training session that I had on Monday with Shawn from Vigilance.  Shawn and Vigilance will be giving a Carbine Gunfighter course this coming Saturday and I had the privilege to go through it one on one with him two days ago.

I am, and have always been, a voracious student throughout my life.  This was my first course with Vigilance.  It will not be my last.  The goal of this course is for Gunfighters to walk away with higher carbine capabilities, an increased confidence in both hard and soft skills, and a baseline knowledge of gaining the tactical advantage through vigilance during the fight.  So much of the learning process stems from having the right person sharing their experience with you in a way that you can absorb it.  Shawn is patient and analytical with the right mix of critical nature that is needed when teaching live fire exercises.
