A nice Used Revolver Collection just landed! These all fall into the “shooter” classification, not the “collectible” class. That being said, there are some nice shooters in this collection. Let’s get down to business.
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 28-2, also known as the Highway Patrolman. She’s a 4″ barreled .357Mag 6 shot. The action is solid and the cylinder locks up like a bank vault. Great range weapon, hunting sidearm, or just fun gun at a great price.
This is a Smith & Wesson Model 65-2. She’s a 3″ barreled, 6 shot .357magnum with Pachmayr grips and that sweet old Smith action.
This weapon is a 1945 four screw Smith and Wesson Model 10 (pre-model 1) chambered in .38spl. These old four screw revolvers will catch someones eye that has a taste for them. Action is solid.
This weapon is a Ruger Security Six with a 6″ barrel and a 6 shot cylinder. Great value in a long barreled big bore wheel gun here. If you are looking for a range gun/hunting sidearm, this might catch your eye.
Last, but not least and it’s an odd one. The owner of these weapons was an NYPD Detective, an FBI agent and a Florida Police Officer from back in the day. I’m guessing that this 1910 Colt Police Positive was the property of his father before him just based on the age of the weapon. This revolver is chambered in the old .38 S&W round. The barrel was chopped down to a 2″ by one of the agencies to make it easier to conceal, the weapon was obviously re-nickled at some point, and the grips are definitely not original. I have a feeling that if this weapon could talk, it would have some stories to tell. Sometimes weapons land here that you just know have seen some shit.
