USED GEMS from Kimber, Ruger and S&W 5/7/16…

Good morning all and Happy Saturday.  Those of you who frequent the shop know how picky I am when it comes to bringing in used weapons.  When it comes to used weapons I find interesting enough to go after, it’s usually feast or famine.  This week was a feast!  All three of the weapons you are about to read about have had minimal usage and were kept in impeccable shape.  The are all reasonably priced as well.  Let’s get started.

KIMBER ULTRA CRIMSON CARRY IIFirst up is the Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II.  This is a 3″ barreled .45acp 1911 with the Rosewood Crimson Trace Laser Grips on her.  She’s just old enough on the manufacturing date to have predated the “unpleasantness” associated with Kimber consistency that began in 2006.  This weapon is in beautiful shape with a low round count and comes in the original box with all of the original contents.  She is tagged at $800 and eligible to leave the shop after the mandatory PBSO hold on the 21st of May.

RUGER POLICE SERVICE SIX 357MAGNext up, we have a pristine example of a Ruger Police Service Six Revolver.  This is a 4″ barreled, 6 shot .357magnum revolver finished in stainless steel with beautiful wood stocks.  She was manufactured in 1985 and I have my doubts as to whether this weapon was ever shot outside of the Ruger factory.  No box or manual on this one as she came into the shop in a soft pistol rug.  She’s tagged at $450 and is eligible to leave the shop after the mandatory PBSO hold on May 18th.

SMITH WESSON 36-1Last, but not least, is a rare find in this condition.  This is a Smith & Wesson Model 36-1 with a 3″ barrel and chambered in .38spl.  She was manufactured in 1982 and I would be extremely surprised if 50 rounds have been through this weapon during its lifetime.  There are minimal cylinder marks and no imperfections in the original bluing as well as no perceptible imperfections in the diamond checkered wood stocks.  She is in dynamite shape and is tagged at $600.  This weapon is eligible to leave the shop after the mandatory PBSO hold ends on May 21st.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
