Used Gem Smith & Wesson K-22 Model 17-3…
Good afternoon all. I have a gem of a used weapon to show you all today. It won’t be for everyone, but for those who know these weapons…it should disappear pretty quickly. This Smith & Wesson K-22 Model 17-3 was made in 1969. She’s a K-Frame, 6″ Barreled, 6 Shot revolver chambered in .22lr. The Blued Finish is flawless and the wood stocks don’t have a mark on them. It’s hard to tell if this weapon has ever been shot. There is an extremely faint wheel mark on the cylinder that I’ve seen appear on other weapons just from people playing with them in the shop. This weapon looks literally brand new and was made 46 years ago. Some of the other pieces in this persons collection were in the same pristine shape. It’s like he had a time machine or a very well climate controlled environment to stash them in over the last four and a half decades. Regardless, she’s in the shop and up for sale. The 15 day PBSO hold will be over on Saturday October 10th as the weapon came in yesterday. If you have a taste for these old wheel guns, you won’t find a nicer example from this time period. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
