This used gem is a Springfield Armory Professional .45acp.  These 1911’s are serious weapons.  These are often referred to as the FBI gun as the FBI HRT chose this weapon as their sidearm in 2016.  This one was made by the Springfield Custom Shop in 2006 and has the added bonus of being old enough to have shipped with the Nowlin barrel straight from the Springfield factory.  Springfield later discontinued buying these barrels for the factory due to the expense but when you find one with the Nowlin barrel, it gives it a little extra.  She is in pristine condition and comes with six magazines that are tuned to the weapon.  This is one of those rare finds that should catch your attention if you are a serious shooter or collector.  Come down to the shop and take a look.  You’ll leave with a spring in your step, a smile on your face and a lighter wallet.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gushinearms.com
