Tippmann Arms is making some seriously nice .22 caliber semi-automatic rifles and pistols with aluminum upper and lower receivers and all of the features of a true M4.  The M4-22 Elite rifle has a 12″ M-LOK aluminum free float hand guard. The M4-22 Micro Pistol has a 5.25″ M-LOK aluminum free float hand guard.  They both come with 25 round magazines, flip up sights, and solid steel barrels (1:16 twist) with a 1/2×28 thread pitch.

Tippmann Arms has a relationship going with Project Appleseed.  These rifles are very well built and being put to use in a great program that teaches kids gun safety, function and marksmanship.  They are worth looking at if you are in the market for a .22cal M4 platform.
