S&W M629 Deluxe, M627 Pro, M43C & MP9 Pro Core 4/7/16…
Good afternoon all and Happy Thursday! Lots of very nice weapons in from Smith & Wesson today. Let’s get started with the Dirty Harry hand cannon as it’s a favorite of mine. The S&W M629 Deluxe is a 6.5″ barreled DA/SA revolver with a solid steel frame and a beautiful set of rosewood stocks. She’s a 6 shot .44magnum hand cannon with enough weight on her to truly be comfortable to shoot. These are ideal hunting sidearms if you are a large enough human to comfortably carry this in a chest or drop leg holster. There is just something about a long barreled .44magnum that makes me smile like a little kid on Christmas morning when I shoot one.
The next wheel gun in today is a little more practical than the .44mag above but still a blast to shoot. The S&W M627 Pro is a 4″ barreled DA/SA revolver with a steel frame and some very comfortable rubber grips. She’s an 8 shot .357magnum and she’s got some nice upgrades from the Pro Shop at Smith & Wesson. Custom Barrel with Recessed Precision Crown, Chamfered Charge Holes, a Bossed Mainspring and a slightly slicked action are sweet additions to an already nice weapon. This is a relatively small package (I said relatively) for an 8 shot .357mag. She’s sweet!
Next up is the S&W M43C. This is a great concealed carry weapon for people that have problems with recoil. She’s an 8 shot .22lr revolver on an alloy AirLite J-Frame. She disappears in a pocket or purse and she weighs very little.
Last, but not least, is a great addition to anyones collection that has a sound suppressor in 9mm. The Smith & Wesson MP9 Pro Core is a 17rd 9mm that comes with both a standard and a 4.25″ threaded barrel. The slide is machined and cut to accept all of the industries leading RMR/Red Dot pistol sights and she has suppressor height fixed 3 dot sights. This weapon is a bargain by any standard considering what you get with it.
