S&W 642 Lady Smith and Twin MP9 Shields on 5/11/16…

Happy Hump Day All!!!  There is a nice roll of sidearms coming through the door this week.  Let’s start with the rare bird today.  I tend to get a lot of Model 642 Airweights in the shop but this is the first Model 642 Lady Smith I’ve had land here.  This is a little J-Frame 5 Shot .38spl which appears to have some more weight on her than the Airweight even though Smith’s websites suggests otherwise.  That added weight could be due to the nice high polish wood stocks that S&W put on the 642 Lady Smith that the normal 642 doesn’t have.  This is a compact, hammerless wheel gun with a little style to it that would be at home in any woman’s hand bag or pocket.

Also in today are a new pair of the old reliable Smith & Wesson MP9 Shield pistols.  These are ideal IWB Concealed Carry sidearms that are single stack 9mm with maximum magazine capacity of 8+1.  There really isn’t a better bang for the buck in this class of weapon.
