Good evening all. Sunday was a good day. You’ve got me with a scotch sitting next to my keyboard and a bunch of photos and videos to go through from the 1st Gunshine Sunday Funday Gunday. I can only hope that there will be many more of these. There are a lot of people that deserve my thanks for making this all come together. First I would like to thank Steve and Jerry for hosting us. Their hospitality was spectacular and they are genuinely nice country folks that opened up their home and property to us. I would like to thank Russel, Dennis, Eric and Rosie for getting us an invite to this wonderland of beauty, fun and unbridled shooting joy. To the two Mikes…what can I say…how do you say thank you for the oversight and instruction given in an environment with such amazing tools to experience and utilize, and
for providing some of the tools that were the biggest crowd pleasers? You simply say THANK YOU for being the badass Porters I love. To Nick from Blackhawk Custom, thank you for creating some of the sweetest SBR’s anyone has ever seen and the 240grain .300blkout rounds to go along with them. Finally, thank you to Matt and Steph for always supporting me and Carm and for opening up a world where all of these people could actually know each other and get to enjoy a day like we had yesterday. You guys are amazing. There were literally hundreds of photos and videos from yesterday so you aren’t going to get all of them, but here is a nice sampling of what we were up to. The range safety, the caliber and quality of the tools on hand, and the caliber of the people in attendance were all stellar. Perfect days are worthy of future attempts at repetition. And…we got to blow stuff up. Enjoy.
