Springfield Armory XDS9 and XDS45 on 7/23/15…

 

 

Good morning all.  Continuing with the concealed carry theme today, the shop received more Springfield Armory XDS pistols.  Both the Springfield Armory XDS9 and XDS45 just landed and depending on your caliber preference, either would make a great daily carry.  Both weapons are DAO striker fired semi-autos and both have 3.3″ barrels.  The sights are the standard white dot in the rear and fiber optic front sight which comes from the factory as red but comes with replacements in the case to switch to green or pink.  The big difference here is capacity and stopping power.  The XDS9 comes with one 7 round and one 8 round magazine (9 rounders are available), and the XDS45 comes with one 5 round and one 6 round magazine (7 rounders are available).  The standard trade off applies.  Bigger caliber equals less capacity.  I own an XDS45 and find it to be a great every day carry.
