The Sig Sauer P238 ASE is an awesome every day carry. The P238 ASE (Alloy Stainless Elite) are basically micro-1911’s and are just a fraction of the size of full-size pistols. A smart looking, small handgun built with the same accuracy and reliability as large frame SIG SAUER pistols. With an overall length of just 5.5 inches a height of 3.96 inches, and weighing just 15.2 ounces, the SIG SAUER P238 is the ultimate firepower in an alloy frame concealed pistol. The ASE features a PVD-coated frame and slide, paired with walnut grips featuring the SIG mark. The weapon comes standard with SigLite Night Sights and the extended 7 round magazine.
One of these little weapons has been a part of my collection for years now and I love them. The PVD coating on the P238 ASE is a serious step up from the standard nitron coating for durability in comparison to the one I bought years ago. I’m a fan of the new slim line grips in walnut too. Otherwise, it’s the same great weapon that Sig has been putting out for years now. Definitely worth owning if you are in the market for a new EDC.
