Sig Sauer P229 Legion 9mm on 10/30/15…
Good afternoon all and Happy Friday!!! Today brings in our second Legion pistol since Sig Sauer released them a couple of weeks ago. The Sig Sauer P229 Legion 9mm got a lot of hype before the national release with good reason. The Legion series has the Gray Nitron PVD finish on slide and frame, Front cocking serrations (Elite style slide), Solid steel guide rod, GrayGuns Inc. Intermediate Adjustable Trigger, Checkered trigger guard underside, Enhanced polished action with short reset trigger, X5 undercut on the frame, More aggressive front strap checkering, Sig’s X-Ray night sights which offer high visibility during day and night, Reduced profile decocker and slide levers, Reduced Elite beavertail, Custom checkered G-10 grips, and she ships with 3 anti-friction magazines. The long and short of that laundry list is that this is a seriously upgraded P229 that carries easier as Sig made all of the hardware lower profile. The sight picture is brilliant during day or night and the trigger (I carry a P220 combat with an SRT trigger everyday) is the nicest variant of the SRT I have seen. This weapon is an awesome addition to the ever expanding Sig Sauer lineup of pistols. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
