SIG SAUER P220 MATCH ELITE DA/SA 10MM on 03/15/17…

 

Good morning all.  Happy Humpday!  Today’s Humpday is going to be all about 10mm weapons.  First up is a true unicorn.  I thought Sig Sauer stopped making these weapons because of how long it’s been between sightings…not just for my shop but in general as they just don’t exist on the internet either.  This is the SIG SAUER P220 MATCH ELITE DA/SA 10MM.  This sidearm has every no-nonsense, gross motor control, badass amenity that Sig offers.  She sits on the Elite Stainless Steel Frame with the Beavertail.  The weapon is Reverse Two-Tone with a Black Nitron coated Stainless Steel  Slide and the Natural Stainless Steel Frame.  She has Black G10 Piranha Grips giving you some seriously aggressive traction when combined with the front checkering (rear checkering is not needed as the G10’s cover the back of the grip). This is a 5″ match grade barreled weapon with Sig’s SRT (short reset trigger) that will put a smile on the face of the biggest trigger snobs.  Considering she’s DA/SA, that is saying something.  Round out the package with the standard Siglite Night Sights and a couple of 8 round magazines.  Unloaded she is 39 oz.’s so she’s going to kick about as much as a .45acp P220.  This is a whole lot of giddy-up in a 10mm weapon on as stable a frame as I’ve seen on a sidearm.  This DA/SA version of the P220 10mm never even made Sig Sauer’s website or catalog so don’t be discouraged if you can’t find a lot of information on it out there.  Rest assured, if you like Sig’s DA/SA platform and you want a 10mm…you want this weapon.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
