SIG SAUER 516G2 Carbon 5.56 Rifle on 12/16/16…

 

Sig Sauer has been redesigning this weapon for a couple of years now and the 516 G2 Carbon just landed in the shop.  This is the first of these weapons I’ve seen since the news broke earlier this year about the re-entry of the 516 lineup into the market.  The Sig Sauer 516 G2 is an adjustable gas-piston driven work horse.  She comes with a B5 Systems Bravo SOPMOD Stock, QD Mounts all over the place for multiple rigging options (QD Sling Included), Steel Flip Up Sights, and a Carbon Fiber M-LOK forend that covers a 16″ cold hammer forged barrel.  The adjustable gas regulator makes going from running a suppressor to non-suppressed function literally a turn of a dial.  Outstanding functionality, fit and finish on this rifle which is just what you’d expect from Sig’s 516 Patrol Generation 2 rifle!  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
