SIG SAUER 1911R EMPEROR SCORPION 7/15/15…

 

 

Good afternoon all.  Those of you that follow the shop know that I have a soft spot in my heart for a Sig Sauer 1911.  This is one that has never been in the shop before.  She’s a beauty and a beast.  The new SIG SAUER 1911R Emperor Scorpion is a Commander Size frame with the 4.25″ barrel and she’s chambered in .45acp.  The alloy frame is finished in a full FDE Cerakote and sports an aggressive set of Piranha G10 Grips.  She has ambidextrous safety levers and the upswept beavertail backstrap safety.  The slide sports front and rear serrations and a pair of low profile Tritium SigLite Night Sights.  She comes with two 8 round magazines.
