The folks at Ruger are always innovating for the commercial marketplace.  The GP100 line of revolvers has always been knows as a product line that offers tremendous value and the newest entry continues with that tradition.

The newly released Ruger GP100 .44 Special (Model 1770) really raises the bar on performance combined with value.  This is a double action/single action steel framed revolver with a blued finish and some beautiful smooth walnut stocks.  The rear sights are adjustable and the front sight is a very easy to pickup gold bead.  The barrel is 5″ half lug and she has an un-fluted cylinder.
