Ruger 10/22 Heaven 8/29/14…

Good evening all.  We received another round of Ruger 10/22 Takedown Rifles with the threaded barrel today (one is already gone), but in taking the picture of the new inventory, it was interesting to go wider angle and take in the whole variety of Ruger 10/22 rifles that we have in stock.  Starting from the top, we have the Ruger 10/22 Target rifle with cold hammer forged bull barrel, the Ruger 10/22 Deluxe Sporter with a stainless 22″ barrel, the Ruger 10/22 Takedown Tactical with threaded barrel and high viz fiber optic front and rear sights, two of the Ruger 10/22 50th Anniversary rifles which have too many cool features to list, a Ruger 10/22 International Classic, and last but not least the good old Ruger 10/22 Standard Carbine.  These are all variations of a design that is popular enough to have lasted five decades and the makers of the 10/22 continue to innovate and thrive in the modern day gun market.  How many people reading the Blog right now had a Ruger 10/22 as a first rifle?  If I had to guess, I would say a third of you out there and that’s probably being conservative, which is something I’ve been accused of before:)  In all seriousness though, if you are looking for a rifle to introduce your children to the shooting sports environment or just looking for a great weapon to plink with at the range…you’ll be hard pressed to find more value for your dollar.
