NOTICE – Your CWFL License is no longer valid in Virginia…

 

 

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day!!!  As we draw closer to Christmas, I wish I had information to share that was more of a gift….but then again being armed with information is always a gift.  The state of Virginia decided to embrace partisan politics and has removed reciprocity for the CWFL (Concealed Weapon/Firearm License) with 25 states including the Great State of Florida.  Virginia is home to the National Rifle Associations’s Headquarters so we can expect that there will be some political muscle being flexed against this action shortly.  Due to the definition of the word “reciprocity”, I think we can expect that the VA Permits will no longer be valid in FL shortly either.  I always love when people that have their own armed security make decisions that make the rest of us more vulnerable.  Here is the link from the VA State Police Website which shows the state permits that they no longer accept http://www.vsp.state.va.us/Firearms_Reciprocity.shtm .  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
