The new Smith & Wesson Model 642 Deluxe is a five shot .38spl with an extended grip that allows you to get your whole hand on the weapon.  This version of the weapon comes with the Croc pattern on the grips which is an exclusive for one of the distributors that the shop buys from.  If you are looking for an every day carry weapon that can go in the pocket of a pair of shorts, or in your pocket when you have to tuck in a shirt, the 642 is a great option.  Obviously, not a combat weapon but plenty of pop to punch your way out of a bad situation and beat feet if the need arises.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
