New SIG SAUER P938 and New Ruger Single Nine on 5/29/14…

Good afternoon all.  We received two new sidearms this afternoon and they couldn’t be more different from each other.  As we are moving into summer and the shops clients are always looking for smaller weapons that can be carried concealed, let’s start with the SIG SAUER.

The SIG SAUER P938 is a single action only 1911 style micro compact pistol chambered in 9mm.  She has an ambidextrous safety and a 6+1 capacity with the standard flush magazine.  The barrel is 3 inches long and the overall length is just 5.9 inches.  This P938 comes with black rubber panel grips which cover a light weight alloy frame that is coated in SIG SAUER’s black Nitron finish.  She also comes with SIG SAUER’s patented SIGLITE Night Sights.  This P938 is tiny for a 9mm (small enough to put in a front cargo pant pocket) but behaves like a larger weapon as she has all metal construction.  In the climate that we all live in, this little sidearm is a gem for concealed carry.

Next, we have an addition that is a first for the shop in the Ruger Single Nine revolver.  This is a single action only cowboy revolver that is chambered in .22 magnum and she has a nine shot capacity.  The barrel length is 6.5 inches and the overall length is 12 inches.  The Single Nine revolver has a steel frame with a Satin Stainless finish and hardwood gunfighter grips.  She has adjustable rear and Williams Adjustable Fiber Optic front sights.  If you grew up watching westerns as a kid like I did, these weapons grab you.  The .22 magnum round and a the nine shot capacity make this an extremely enjoyable weapon to shoot.
