This new Sig Sauer P220 Match Elite chambered in .45acp is one of those rarely seen sidearms from Sig Sauer.  This is full stainless steel construction with a 5″ barrel and the Elite frame that sports the more pronounced beaver tail.  The grips are the super slim aluminum variety that are only made for the P220 Match Elite’s.  The weight of this weapon is substantial making recoil a joke even in .45acp.  The sight picture is spot on which is not a surprise as the sight radius is sweet in a 5″ barreled weapon.  Sights are rear adjustable and front tritium lamp.  If you like .45’s and you like P220’s this is a weapon that you really should come in and put in your hand.  This is the 2nd one that I received in a week and now they are ghosts again to reappear who knows when.
