New SIG SAUER 1911R Carry TACOPS & P238 HD 9/10/15…

 

 

Good evening all.  As most of you know the shop loves Sig Sauer and their never ending array of badass weapons.  Today we received two more from their 1911 platform lineup.  Let’s get started with the SIG SAUER 1911R Carry TACOPS.  She’s chambered in .45acp, has a 4.2″ barrel with a nice tactical rail underneath the crown.  SigLite Night Sights, four 8 round magazines, Ergo XT Grips that cover a beveled mag well and a frame that has front and rear checkering, as well as Ambi safeties make this one of the most functional commander sized 1911 options on the market.  It won’t make the traditionalist smile, but it makes me grin for sure.

The next entry is a new one for Gunshine Arms.  The shop has had so many variants of the P238 pass through it’s door that it’s hard to keep track.  The P238 HD SS has a full steel frame unlike the alloy frames on some of the other variants.  This is the smallest Micro-1911 available on the market and she’s chambered in .380acp.  Makes for a great concealed carry and the extra weight will mitigate an already low felt recoil.  Great for a purse too.  I own a P238 and they are just such a joy to shoot.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
