New sidearms including GLOCK 41 on 6/17/14…
Good afternoon all. We received a couple of new sidearms this afternoon. The new long slide GLOCK 41 seems to be gaining some traction out there with the folks that shoot .45acp (myself included) so we will start with her. The GLOCK 41 Gen4 is a practical/tactical .45 AUTO caliber pistol designed with the superior engineering of GLOCK to maximize sight radius while improving weight distribution and balance. The longer barrel and slide help to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil while the longer sight radius provides better accuracy for competition or duty use. She comes with three 13 round magazines. The barrel length is 5.31 inches and the overall length is 8.9 inches which gives her a sight radius of 7.56 inches which puts a smile on my face. The rear sight is adjustable and the front is fixed.
Next, we have the Smith & Wesson M&P22 pistol. This is a 12 round training pistol from the M&P line that is chambered in .22LR. She is the same size and dimensions as the standard M&P pistols that are chambered in the centerfire calibers which makes her a great trainer and plinker.
