New Sidearms at Gunshine Arms today including Springfield XDS…
Hello all. We got some great new sidearms in today. We got a bunch of other stuff too but that post will come later on. Let’s get started on the sidearms!
We received our first Springfield XDS 9 in today in almost 4 months, and it is newly manufactured after the recall. I can tell just by pulling the slide back that this weapon is different from mine which was manufactured before the recall. Initial reports from my clients that have had their weapons worked on in the recall process are all glowing which makes me happy as these weapons are beautiful concealed carry options. The comfortable design of the all new Springfield XDS 9 feels so natural, it’s like an extension of your own body. The unique combination of an ultra-slim profile paired with enhanced performance point-and-shoot features allows you to shoot accurately without having to adjust your wrist giving you greater control. At only 1” wide, the XDS features a low profile rear and fiber optic front sight, enabling easier and faster target acquisition. A single-position Picatinny rail readily accepts lights, lasers or other pistol accessories. It is one of the only polymer pistols of this size that has this feature, which makes it an easy reach for the light or laser of your choice. These weapons are an all around winner if you are looking for something comfortable to carry and easy to shoot well.
Next, we have the Smith & Wesson M&P9 Range and Carry Kit. This is your standard M&P9 pistol with a lot of added high end accessories from the factory at almost no additional cost. In the box with your weapon comes a Blade-Tech Kydex Holster, a Blade-Tech double magazine carrier, a Maglula Uplula Speed Loader, Ear Plugs, and Three 17 round magazines. All of these add-ons would easily cost you $125 if you bought them separately, but they come with the weapon at a bargain price of just under $600 for the whole package. Kind of hard to argue with that if you are looking to find a great all around weapon for the range, and home or self defense.
Next, we have a Colt Commander 1911 pistol. This weapon is a direct descendant of the original Colt M1911. Chambered in .45acp, she has a long trigger, flat mainspring housing and original style recoil spring system remain from the original M1911 design. Upgrades from the original include white dot sights and a lowered ejection port for extra reliability. It still remains “the standard” that everyone tries to imitate, but no one duplicates. These weapons have had a following for 100 plus years. There is a good reason for it.
Finally, we have the return of a shop favorite just with a new finish. We received our first Walther PK380 with a nickel finish on the slide. This is an extremely durable coating on a great little concealed carry sidearm that is chambered in .380ACP. Its small grip is ideal for shooters with small hands. The slide is easy to operate which makes it a good choice for those who don’t have the strongest hands but still prefer to carry a semi-automatic pistol. The light weight goes unnoticed in a pocket or purse.
We have more inventory that came in today and more posts to come this evening talking about it. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at https://gunshinearms.com
