New Ruger LCP and Ruger SR9C on 9/2/14…
Good afternoon all. We received some great new sidearms today but I’m going to post them by manufacturer. We have two new additions from Ruger this afternoon and we are going to get started with the Ruger LCP. LCP stands for Lightweight Compact Pistol. These weapons are meant for true concealment. They are one of the smallest, lightest weapons on the market that are still truly reliable. She is less than an inch wide, less than 4 inches tall, and just over 5 inches in length. It’s smaller and lighter than your cell phone. The Ruger LCP is chamber in .380acp and has a 6 + 1 capacity. She is so small and light, you can almost forget you have her in your pocket. As with almost everything Ruger, there is a lot of value for your money here.
Next, we have the Ruger SR9C. The SR9c compact pistol weighs in at 23.40 oz. and features an overall length of 6.85″, a height of 4.61″, and the same slim 1.27″ grip width (across safety levers) as the full-sized SR9. It comes with two magazines that provide options in both capacity and grip size. The standard magazine holds 10 rounds and features a flat bottom butt plate; a finger grip extension floor plate is also included. The second magazine features a grip adapter and holds 17 rounds, instantly transforming the smaller, compact grip into a full-sized 9mm grip. The 3.50″ barreled pistol features an integral accessory rail that accommodates most lights and lasers. There is tremendous value in this weapon if you are looking for a versatile 9mm sidearm where reliability and a low price point meet up in a way that most manufacturers can’t make happen.
