New Ruger 10/22 Rifles in stock today 6/6/14…
Good afternoon all. We received some great new weapons in today. This post is just about the three new Ruger 10/22 Rifles that were received. Let’s get started with the basic model.
The Ruger 10/22 Carbine Standard (bottom rifle in the photo below) is the .22LR semi-auto rifle so many of us grew up on. This is your no frills wood stock, blued barrel, flip up leaf rear and fixed front bead sight, comes standard with a ten round magazine rifle and it’s awesome. This rifle turned 50 years of age this year and it’s really not that different (although it functions a whole lot smoother ) than the ones that came out all those years ago. If you want to have some fun plinking, or are looking for a first rifle for your boy or girl and you want an inexpensive and reliable weapon, then this is it.
Next, we have a 10/22 that I’ve never seen or laid hands on before. The Ruger 10/22 International Classic rifle is a TALO Exclusive. This would be the middle rifle in the photo below. She has a walnut wood stock that follows the whole length of the barrel, save about an inch where they needed the space to add the band that houses the front sight. The International Classic has a raised cheek rest carved out of the piece of walnut that was used to make the stock. Carved into the stock is a diamond pattern that sits where both your right and left hands naturally rest when you shoot a rifle. This is truly an interesting piece and a rare one at that. She also comes with the 10 round rotary magazine that the 10/22 rifles are famous for.
Lastly, we have the Ruger 10/22 ITAC rifle. This would be the top rifle in the photo below. This is about as tactical as a 10/22 gets coming straight from Ruger. She comes with an ATI 6 Position Folding Stock and ATI Overmolded Pistol Grip. The ITAC comes with tactical rails on the bottom and the sides of the hand guard portion of the rifle and comes with more that can be added in the box. She is drilled and tapped for a standard rail over the receiver if you wanted to add a scope or reflex sight and she comes standard with the Ruger BX-25 Magazine which as a 25 round capacity. This is one rifle that I can speak to personally as she’s part of the collection. She’s all fun and no hassle. Throw a little red dot on the top and bring some ammo to the range and you’ll have a smile from ear to ear.
