Happy Hump Day all! Every year Ruger releases a new color scheme and design for their 22/45 Lite line. The New Release this year is the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Diamond Grey. This is one of the nicest color/design schemes yet for this platform! The weapon is as solid as they come.
The 4.4″ threaded barrel, lightweight slide and frame, picatinny rail installed at the factory, adjustable rear sights and fixed front, 1911 style checkered grips are all awesome features, but….none of them are as cool as the one-button takedown that has been incorporated into the Mark IV line up. It’s mind boggling how easy this weapon is to take apart, clean and put back together. In contrast to the older Mark I through Mark III pistols where I was never able to put them back together without bleeding, this weapon is a dream not only to shoot, but to maintain as well.
Ruger has been doing a lot of things well lately and this Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite Diamond Grey is no exception. They have been putting out some innovative new designs in the Ruger PC Carbine and some truly sweet big bore revolvers in both GP100 and the Redhawk lines. The folks at Ruger really seem to have squared away their lineup. Come on down to the shop and take a look around at the new 22/45 Lite and some of their other weapons. You won’t be disappointed.
