New Over & Under Shotguns including FN SC1 and Beretta Silver Pigeon on 3/18/14…

Good afternoon all.  We have upgraded our field shotguns in the shop and have brought in some great inventory.  This post is going to be about the new Over & Under Shotguns and the next one will include the new semi-auto shotguns.

Let’s start with the FN SC1 which is chambered in 12 gauge.  The FN SC1 Over & Under shotgun is competition ready, right out of the box; designed with features that make it a contender across the entire array of competitive shotgun sports. Adjustable for comb height, cast and length-of-pull and topped with a 10mm wide ventilated rib and fiber-optic front sight with brass mid-bead, the FN SC1 O/U provides the ultimate sighting plane for flying targets. This one has a 30″ barrel which is lightweight and back-bored and ported for ballistic performance and low recoil providing the perfect balance of speed and maneuverability.  In addition to all of these great attributes, this happens to be one of the prettiest weapons I’ve ever seen.

 

 

Next, we have the Beretta Silver Pigeon I Shotgun.  Beretta is an industry standard when it comes to sporting shotguns for a reason.  The fit and finish on this weapon are equal to it’s performance which are is excellent.  The Silver Pigeon I is as beautiful to the eye as it is to the touch.  The oil-finished stock is select walnut with a traditional Schnabel fore-end.  This over-under also enjoys the Beretta’s legendary point-ability, thanks to the 680 series low-profile receiver.   Furthermore, the absolute strength of the unique locking system provides for years of trouble-free use.  She as a 28″ barrel, a 3″ chamber and a utilizes the Mobilechoke system which includes 3 chokes.  This is a fantastic weapon.

 

Our last entry into the Over & Under inventory for today is the CZ Upland Ultralight chambered in 12 gauge.  Weighing in at just 6 lbs, it is a full 2 lbs. lighter than similar steel-framed models, making it one of the lightest in its class. With a 28″ barrel, this gun is ideal for long days in the field. The metal is coated with a non-reflective, weather-resistant matte finish and the stock is sport-styled.  The Upland Ultralight operates with clockwork precision and consistency due to CNC-cut aluminum alloy frame, allowing the inner mechancial parts to work flawlessly. On the exterior the most noticable differing characteristic is the lack of a mid-rib between the barrels.  These are great all around field guns.
