New long guns from Smith including the M&P 15T on 6/17/14…

Good evening all.  Sorry about the late finish with the Blog this evening but we are closing out with some desirable long guns from Smith & Wesson.  We received two Smith rifles today and we are going to start with the Smith & Wesson M&P 15T.  The T stands for Tactical and Smith & Wesson does a very nice job with this rifle out of the box.  She’s chambered in 5.56 and comes with the 16″ barrel (1 in 8″ twist) and chromed bolt carrier and gas key.  There are the nice add on of Magpul MBUS front and rear folding sights.  The big value in this rifle is a 10″ anti-twist free floating quad rail.  This is a great mid range direct impingement rifle that you will be very happy with out of the box.  She’s in the middle in the photo below.

 

Last but not least for today is a crowd favorite here at Gunshine Arms in the Smith & Wesson M&P15-22.  This is Smiths tactical trainer as she is the same size as the normal M&P rifles but is chambered in .22lr.  She has the look and feel of her bigger sisters chambered in 5.56 and this weapon eats most varieties of .22lr like a champ.  This weapon won Rifle of the Year back in 2010 against all other rifles in all calibers and she’s a .22lr.  She hasn’t changed since then.  This one has the threaded barrel with the flash suppressor on her from the factory.  Affordable and fun, this rifle gives you a lot for your money.  She’s on the bottom of the photo below.
