New FN15 MOE SLG and New Henry Lever 17HMR Octagon 2/11/15…

Good afternoon all.  Today brought two very nice long guns into the shop.  First up is a new release from FN-USA in their FN15 MOE SLG carbine.  The FN15 MOE SLG is the result of  FN USA partnering with Magpul to equip the FN15 Carbine platforms with the latest and most desired Magpul AR accessories. The new MOE SLG, the first AR-15 to feature the Magpul MOE SL accessories, will come standard with features like a 5.56 mm chambered, 16” chrome-lined, alloy steel, button-broached barrel as well as the new Magpul trigger guard, pistol grip, hand guard, stock and rear sight assembly.

 

Next up is a weapon that is very popular with the shops clients that is chambered in a great varmint load.  This is the Henry Lever Action with an Octagon Barrel chambered in .17HMR.  The barrel length is 20″ and the capacity is 11+1.  This is a beautiful weapon and she runs rounds that have a muzzle velocity of 2,550 feet per second.
