New Century Arms C39 Sporter AK47 on 9/4/14…

Good afternoon all.  Those of you who know the shop, know that I rarely deal in AK’s.  This week is going to be a little different.  We received a new weapon from Century Arms that caught our interest.  The C39 Sporter rifle is an all-American made AK rifle, chambered in 7.62×39, and it boasts some interesting features.  To start, it has a Milled Receiver and a Chrome Lined Barrel.  Yep, that caught my attention too.  She has a fixed stock, a quad rail and a vertical forward grip.  The sights are what you would expect from an AK rifle.  One feature that had me spinning was it’s use of simultaneous ambidextrous charging handles.  Yeah, that was a mouthful.  A picture is worth a thousand words so I took a snap shot of the top of the rifle so you could see what I’m talking about.  That photo is below the normal profile pic of the rifle below.  She comes with two 30rd Tapco AK mags from the factory.  Interesting weapon.
