Lots of new Springfield XDM, XD, and XDS pistols in stock at Gunshine Arms on 2/12/14…
We received a boat load of new Springfield Armory pistols today. Let’s start with the model that has not been in the shop before and that’s the Springfield XDM Competition 9mm pistol. When you put this weapon in your hand, you immediately notice that she is both very long and lighter than you would expect while being very well balanced. The weight has to do with the large cutout taken from the top of the slide. She has a big bright Fiber Optic front sight and adjustable rear sights making for a great sight picture when you snap her up into the shooters stance. With a 5.25″ match grade select fit barrel and an overall length of 8.3″, this weapon screams to be shot on a combat or steel target course. She comes with two 19 round magazines and all of the usual XDM Gear. This weapon is a beauty.
Next, we have new Springfield XDM 40 pistols in both the 4.5″ and 3.8″ varieties. The Compact or 3.8″ XDM 40 pistol comes with one extended 16 round magazine and one flush fit 10 round magazine and has an overall length of 7″, while the 4.5″ XDM 40 comes with two 16 round magazines and has an overall length of 8″.
Next, we have XDS pistols in both 9mm and .45acp. The comfortable design of the all new XD-S feels so natural, it’s like an extension of your own body. The unique combination of an ultra-slim profile paired with enhanced performance point-and-shoot features allows you to shoot accurately without having to adjust your wrist giving you greater control. At only 1” wide, the XD-S features a low profile rear and fiber optic front sight, enabling easier and faster target acquisition.
Lastly, we have new Springfield XD pistols in both 9mm and .45acp in the 4″ variety. These are fantastic workhorse pistols with a lot of great features at a no-frills price point. The 4 inch XD combines safety with quality and ease of use. With the new Ultra Safety Assurance Action Trigger System, this polymer framed pistol is as comfortable as it is safe.
