IWI Tavor, Colt LE6920, Colt LE6920 MOE, Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22, Savage Model 93 at Gunshine Arms today…

It was another great day for inventory additions.  This post is just new rifles.  Let’s start with another IWI Tavor chambered in 5.56mm.  The one that came in last week lasted 4 hours on the wall before someone went home with it.

Due to the dynamic changes in the battlefield, the threats of global terrorism and the demanding combat situations, there was a need for a versatile, innovative and technologically advanced weapon. The TAVOR Assault Rifle family was created to answer these adversities, thus distinguishing itself as the ultimate weapon of the 21st century. The TAVOR Assault Rifle family was developed in close cooperation with Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The TAVOR is in service in the IDF infantry troops and special forces as well as in other countries throughout the world. The TAVOR family has excellent performances on the battlefield with high precision, reliability and human ergonomics being its leading characteristics.

 

Next, we received a pair of Colt LE6920 AR-15’s.  One is the standard LE6920 and the second is the LE6920 MOE.  Throughout the world today, Colt’s reliability, performance, and accuracy provide our Armed Forces the confidence required to accomplish any mission. Colt’s new LE6920MP-B shares many features of its combat proven brother, the Colt M4. The heart of this new carbine is its 16.1” chrome lined barrel. With a 1 in 7” twist, ammunition selection is virtually unlimited. Colt teamed up with Magpul Industries to outfit this carbine with the most highly sought after accessories. Magpul MOE handguards, MOE carbine stock, MOE pistol grip, MOE vertical grip and a Magpul Back-up Sight all come as standard equipment on this exceptional carbine.

 

Next, we have the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Tactical rifle.  These are great plinking rifles that are built with the same concept in mind as the AR-15 platform.  Chambered in .22LR, the M&P15-22 rifle is built with high strength polymer upper and lower receivers. This creates a reduced weight rifle that retains the looks and operating features of the standard M&P rifle.  These rifles feature a 6 position collapsable stock, a threaded barrel, a functioning charging handle, adjustable rear and front sights, a two-position receiver mounted safety selector, cartridge case deflector, bolt catch, and a recessed magazine release button. There is a lot of fun to be had at the range and a lot of bang for the buck with this rifle.

 

Finally, we received a really nice bolt action rifle in today.  It’s the Savage Model 93 FV-SR chambered in .22WMR.  This rifle has a picatinny rail for optics, a heavy threaded barrel, and a 5rd magazine.  This is an awesome varmint rifle.
