KEL-TEC CMR30 and Sub2K in G19 Variant

KEL-TECThe KEL-TEC CMR30 and Sub2K in G19 Variant landed at the shop today.  There is a lot of fun and versatility designed into these weapons, and a price point that always puts a smile on peoples faces to boot.

The CMR30 is a .22 Magnum carbine that holds 30 rounds in each of its two flush fit magazines. That’s a lot of firepower for a 3.8lb, semi-auto, collapsible truck gun. It comes out of the box as you see it (top of photo above), including Magpul sights and ambidextrous, non-reciprocating dual operating handles. She’s a straight blow-back tack driver that delivers a ton of fun.  Designed for lightweight, low recoil accuracy, the CMR30 features a nice, single-action trigger, ambidextrous safety and heel catch magazine release. The straight blow-back operation ensures reliability and it runs great suppressed.

At the bottom of the photo is the KEL-TEC Sub2K in the Glock 19 9mm Variant.  You’re looking at a semi-automatic folding carbine.  Folded, it tucks away nicely in situations where space is limited, but it’s quick to deploy in situations where time is of the essence. The SUB2000 offers the best of both worlds. Yes, it’s a pistol caliber, however the ballistic advantage and accuracy at distance come from the 16″ barrel. Barrel length translates to velocity which translates to power downrange. You’ll get the most out of your pistol ammunition right out of the box.  It’s modular due to the M-LOK and Glock 9mm magazine compatibility. It’s simple and reliable. Designed with a straight blow-back system, the SUB2000 is very simple to operate and maintain. The sights are intuitive, the stock is adjustable and field stripping is a breeze.  This is an all around fun carbine to own and when folded, it fits in a laptop bag.  Has a threaded barrel (1/2×28) for all of my stamp collectors.
