Good morning all and Happy Hump Day! There has been a buzz in the industry for a couple of years now over the arrival of Kalashnikov here in Florida and the inception of Kalashnikov USA as a firearms manufacturer. The Saiga and VEPR shotguns have had a solid following for years and now that the Kalashnikov Concern in Russia has purchased MOLOT, the new KUSA shotguns will be the only player in town from the eastern bloc part of the world….except now they are made right here in sunny Florida. The shop just got one of their first products off the manufacturing line from our neighboring county and it’s everything I hoped it would be.
The Kalashnikov USA KS12-T AK Shotgun landed! The Kalashnikov USA KS-12T. An autoloading 12 gauge tactical shotgun. Complete with a 10 round magazine, collapsible skeleton polymer buttstock, ergonomic pistol grip, and handguard with side Picatinny rails. The Safety selector lever notch will hold the operating handle and bolt in the open position. The barrel is 18.25″ long and it comes with a muzzle device that has a thread pitch of M22 x 0.75. Overall length is a healthy 45″ and she weighs in at 8.86 pounds. She comes stock with a 10 round magazine from the factory.
These weapons should take the industry by storm with the kind of quality manufacturing taking place. Come by the shop and check one out. You won’t be disappointed. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
