IWI Tavor SAR-B16L Left Hand Rifle on Consignment 5/3/14…

Good afternoon all.  For all of you southpaws out there, WOW did we get a package in on consignment today (can you hear me Dave?).  A left handed IWI Tavor SAR-B16L that has some ridiculous extras that come along for the ride.  The weapon has been fired, but the owner is known to the shop and (I know you hear this all the time) there are less than 100 rounds through the weapon.  There is not a mark on this weapon or the accessories.  Original box, paperwork, cleaning kit, etc. all accounted for.  Come take a look at her and you’ll see.

So, with the southpaw bull pup comes an EOTECH XPS3-0 Night Vision Compatible sight with a 65 MOA Ring and 1 MOA Dot that has the Quick Disconnect Mount, and an EOTECH G33 STS Magnifier with Switch to Side Mount.  There are 6 magazines (including one HK mag), and a nice single point sling.  There is an ELITE 2 Gun Bullpup Gun Bag and 500 rounds of ammunition that go along with the package.

Now, to the weapon itself.  Israeli Weapons Industries has been producing these Tavor Bullpup Rifles chambered in 5.56×45/.223 Rem since the early 90s and they have been in the hands of the general infantry of the IDF forces since the year 2000.  With a 16.5″ barrel, these bull pup format rifles still have the same reach as an American M4 but the design lends itself nicely to CQB situations as it’s overall length is only 26.125″.  These weapons are extremely well balanced and have obviously been put through the ringer in the design testing with the IDF forces.  The end result is an extremely durable, extremely capable weapon ideal for both close quarters as well as any distance that you would normally be able to operate within holding a 5.56 rifle with a 1 in 7 twist.
