HK45 and CZ 75 SP-01 on 6/11/16…

Happy Weekend All!!!  Today is happy because it’s Saturday but it’s also happy because two of my favorite sidearms showed up yesterday and I have a little time to write this morning.  My personal collection of sidearms is mostly 9mm’s and .45’s these days.  Both of the weapons I’m going to talk about today are full size DA/SA tack drivers.  One is from Heckler & Koch, and the other is from CZ.

HK45

The Heckler & Koch HK45 is a weapon that begs to be run.  The grip is one of the more ergonomically friendly handles you will find on any firearm which is impressive as this is a full size .45acp.  This is the HK45 V1 so she is DA/SA with a safety that also acts as a decocker.  The HK45 uses an HK proprietary O-ring barrel for precise barrel-to-slide lockup and optimal accuracy. HK45 barrels are made using the famous HK cold-hammer forging process for superior performance.  This barrel is 4.53″ long.  The HK45 uses an internal mechanical recoil reduction system which reduces the recoil forces imparted to the weapon and shooter by as much as 30%, improving shooter control during rapid firing and increasing component service life. Capable of firing standard .45 ACP ball through +P ammunition, the HK45 combines the accuracy, modularity, reliability and minimum 20,000 round service life.  She comes with two 10 round mags.  This weapon is as much a joy to shoot as it is to hold and look at.

CZ 75 SP01

Next, is one of my favorite 9mm sidearms.  The CZ 75 SP-01 is a beast of a weapon.  She is also DA/SA but only has a safety.  Barrel length is 4.72″ and all CZ barrels are cold hammer forged for ridiculously long life spans.  This weapon has a full steel frame and slide that are both shrouded in a black polycoat.  She has an extended beavertail and some extremely comfy black synthetic grips that make for a great handle on this weapon.  The SP-01 comes standard with tritium night sights and two 18 round magazines.

You can’t go wrong with either of these sidearms.  Both are a joy to shoot and both feel great in your hands.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
