GLOCK 43 TALO, GLOCK 42, GLOCK 26 GEN4 FDE on 11/3/15…

GLOCK 43 TALO TRIJICONGood afternoon all.  A nice shipment of weapons designed for Concealed Carry showed up in the shop today from GLOCK.  We received a restock of two more GLOCK 43 TALO Editions.  These are the single stack 9mm sidearms from GLOCK that have been taking the market place by storm with an added feature.  They come with a beautiful AMERIGLO Tritium front night sight and black rear sights.  I need to correct a previous post about these sights.  I had stated that they were made by Trijicon because that is what is stamped on the top of the sight.  As it turns out, Trijicon is the only entity in the United States licensed to handle and encapsulate the tritium into our sights that we love so much.  So, AMERIGLO makes the sights but Trijicon handles the Tritium.  Probably more than you wanted to know about sights, but I just figured this out and that’s what the Blog is all about….sharing information!

GLOCK 42Next up is the little baby .380acp pocket pistol from GLOCK, which is the GLOCK 42.  These are great little weapons.  I own one and I have abused it in general.  I run 300 rounds through it in an afternoon almost every time I take it to the range.  It’s a little .380acp.  Find me another little .380acp that doesn’t need to be cleaned and oiled before it starts malfunctioning on it’s way to 300 consecutive rounds.  She’s easy to shoot with either hand and as easy to conceal as any GLOCK can be.  If you are looking for a light recoil, small framed solution for a CCW…come check out the GLOCK 42.

Last, but not least, is the GLOCK 26 Gen4 FDE.  This is the original Baby Glock G26 GEN4 FDEbefore all of the single stacks came out.  She still has a lot of appeal as a 10+1 (3 magazines) 9mm sub compact solution in a sidearm.  She’s a little thick in the grip so I wouldn’t think of her as a pocket pistol, but this weapon all but disappears when worn inside a waistband.  Interesting little sidearm.

As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
