Gen 5 GLOCK Pistols have landed…

 

Morning all.  It’s funny…normally there is a lot more bluster, spanning months, leading up to the release of a new product like this.  It’s not to say that the Gen 5 GLOCK release snuck up on us, but it all happened pretty quick from press release to receiving here at the shop.  There are a lot of nice improvements on these weapons.  Today brings two Gen 5 GLOCK 19’s (one has factory night sights and one has standard sights) and one Gen 5 GLOCK 17 with standard sights into the shop.  Here is a little run down from GLOCK on some of the things that have changed with the new generation.

The Gen5 GLOCK is the latest example of GLOCK’s constant pursuit of perfection. The latest version of GLOCK’s original model features over 20 design modifications from the G17 Gen4, including the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, an nDLC finish, ambidextrous slide stop levers, a grip with no finger grooves, and a flared mag-well. These changes deliver improved accuracy, durability, performance, control, and flexibility whether you are on the range or in a situation where fractions of a second matter.

New product releases are always fun in the industry, especially when it’s one of the top players doing the releasing.  Come down to the shop and pick one up.  One of the nice things about GLOCK is that whether you are talking Gen 5, Gen 4 or Gen 3, you still get a lot of bang for your buck.  As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
