CZ P10 Compact 9mm in FDE 5/27/17
Good morning all and Happy Saturday! The CZ P10 has been the talk of the industry since Shot Show in January. These weapons were designed by CZ with one goal in mind….to take a good hard run at the DAO striker fired market that has some hefty competition in it with the Glock 19, Sig P320, H&K VP9, and Walther PPQ. CZ is big on value for your money so they are coming in equal to the lower end of the price points of all the competition. They have been rare enough so far that I have not had the opportunity to shoot one yet, but just putting my hands on this one tells me a few things.
The grip is fairly aggressive as far as traction goes and the ergonomics are comfortable and form fitting. The slide has both front and rear serrations. CZ wants you to feel like you have good purchase on the weapon and be able to confidently manipulate the slide. The grip angle is very CZ, which for those of you that own a CZ (there is one on my hip every day at the shop) means a very natural point.
The trigger pull is a clean break at just over 4 lbs. and the trigger reset is exceptional. The sights are metal 3 dot with luminescent glow. No problem racking the slide using the metal rear sight off your belt. Capacity is 15+1 and she comes with 2 mags.
Without having shot the weapon, it has my attention. I’m looking forward to CZ ramping up production to quell market demand and give me a chance to take one of these for myself. The one in the picture above is in the shop and not spoken for yet. As always, thank you for reading the Blog at gunshinearms.com
