CZ makes some really nice field shotguns these days 1/9/15…
Good morning all. We have quite a bit to talk about today but I wanted to get started with a nice trend I’ve been seeing from CZ. Many people aren’t aware that CZ is one of the worlds largest suppliers of military and police hardware. They make fantastic tactical weapons and I can personally vouch for that as I own one of their full size .45’s. The eye opener here is that they are making some really nice field shotguns these days and at some pretty enticing price points. The quality of craftsmanship is impressive and the materials that they are using for their weapons are equally impressive. The shop has two of their Over & Under shotguns and a specialty Side by Side in stock right now and I have been selling quite a few of the semi-auto field guns for some time now with glowing reports from the shops clients. CZ is breaking into the field gun market with some beautiful entries these days. Let’s take a look.
Starting at the top of the photo is the CZ Hammer Coach which is a 12 gauge Side by Side with a 20″ barrel and a 3″ chamber. She has two hammers and two triggers and the receiver and butt stock are both case hardened giving it that old west look. If you are looking for a coach gun, this is a truly functional gem at a great price point.
The middle weapon in the photo above is the CZ Canvasback Gold which is a 20 gauge Over & Under with a 28″ barrel and a 3″ chamber. This shotgun is beautifully crafted in both form and function and is a great option for those who do not wish to endure a 12 gauge when they go into the field or shoot sporting clays.
The bottom weapon in the photo above is the CZ Redhead Deluxe which is a 12 gauge Over & Under. She has a 26″ barrel and a 3″ chamber. She has a durable satin chrome finish that is very durable and corrosion-resistant. Auto ejectors are standard. These are fantastic field guns in 12 gauge.
For a true quality Over & Under shotgun, try and find anyone else that’s making a product you could pass down to your children for under $1,000.00 out the door. These are beautiful options in a market that is saturated with big $ alternatives.
