CZ 455 ULTRALUX 22LR BL/WD 5RD 28″ BARREL

 

Evening all.  It’s been a busy day on the Blog and it’s nice to be writing again with so much sweet inventory to talk about.  This next one might seem a little strange with everything else that’s gone up on the Blog today, but I guarantee it won’t disappoint.  If you spend any time in the shop, you know that I am a fan of CZ’s lineup of weapons and the shops inventory represents that.  When most people think of CZ, they immediately think of the CZ 75 pistol series but CZ makes some great rifles and shotguns as well.  Todays entry is a rare one but affordable and great for target shooting.

The CZ 455 Ultralux is the longest-barreled rimfire in the 455 platform this year. It retains all the same features as its 452 predecessor, including 28.6” barrel, tangent rear sight (quickly adjustable for elevation), beech stock with cheekpiece and 5-round magazine. Just like all 455s, it now has the ability to swap barrels and stocks.  The largest draw of the Ultra Lux has always been its incredibly long sight radius, which makes it easier to be more accurate when using iron sights.  The 455 models feature an integral 11mm dovetail for scope mounting.

If you like to shoot at distance and don’t want to break the bank, this long barreled .22 might be just what you are looking for.  This is also a great option if you are teaching someone to shoot a rifle as the sight radius makes things easy on the eyes and the bolt action is smooth, steady and slower by nature.
