Good afternoon all. We received some great new sidearms this morning. Both have a pretty substantial history with our armed services and both are fantastic weapons. Let’s start with the Colt.
The Colt XSE Government 1911 is chambered in .45acp. The Colt XSE Government Series features everything that top shooters demand in a pistol. The foundation for these pistols is a forged receiver, a forged steel slide, a forged stainless steel barrel and a forged steel slide stop. Front and rear slide serrations come standard along with Novak sights. The Colt Upswept Beavertail Grip Safety with Palm Swell and enhanced cut under the trigger guard allow for a secure hold on the pistol. The Colt Tactical Ambidextrous Safety Lock allows for either right or left handed operation. The addition of a one piece, full length guide rod rounds out a pistol suited perfectly for the shooting enthusiast or the personal defense user alike.

Next, we have the Beretta 92A1 Pistol chambered in 9mm. These are the most tested and trusted personal defense weapons in history. The 92FS, designated M9 by the U.S. Military, not only meets or exceeds all U.S. Military testing guidelines, it totally rewrites them. The Model 92A1 represent Beretta’s evolution of the world famous 92FS pistol.
Combining the best elements of the 92FS and the 90-Two, these pistols feature:
A. Higher capacity magazines: 17 rounds in 9mm. Completely interchangeable with other 92 family magazines. THREE magazines included per pistol.
B. Removable front sight: Allows the user to easily replace a damaged sight or replace it with an accessory sight.
C. Accessory rail: The frame of the A1’s have an integral MIL-STD-1913 rail for rapid attachment of tactical lights and laser aiming devices.
D. Internal recoil buffer: Increases service life by reducing stress on the receiver.
E. Captive recoil spring assembly: The single-piece design simplifies the assembly and disassembly process and minimizes the possibility of spring loss.
