COLT LE6920 OEM2 on 9/9/15…

 

 

Good afternoon and Happy Hump Day.  It’s a rarity that a manufacturer catches me off guard with a new product but COLT did just that.  Meet the COLT LE6920 OEM2.  The is a MilSpec COLT LE6920 Rifle with absolutely no furniture.  No butt stock, no hand guard, just a grip.  She’s a 1-in-7 twist 16″ barrel chambered in 5.56 with a very low profile gas block.  This is ingenious to me as most people don’t like the furniture that comes on the base LE6920 and end up taking it off and buying new furniture.  You can outfit this any way you like.  As a side note, we just received a bunch of new accessories in today that includes butt stocks and hand guards.  If you were looking for the easy way out on a build, this is definitely an option and you’d be getting a MilSpec COLT and you can deck it out the way you like.
