This Used Gem is an unfired Ed Brown Executive Elite Centennial Edition 1911.  They were released in 2011 in honor of the 100 year mark of the 1911.  The Centennial edition has 1911-2011 special laser engraving on the left hand side of slide. “Custom by Ed Brown” remains on right hand side of slide.  The weapon comes with Tru-Ivory grips instead of wood grips, a solid trigger instead of 3-hole trigger, plain black sights instead of night sights, a jewelled barrel hood, and Special serial number starting with JMB prefix (signifies John Moses Browning).  Outside of the window dressing, you know what this 1911 is….understated and utter badassery incarnate.  These weapons are no longer available for sale from Ed Brown.
