The Ruger 10/22 rifles have always been a part of the Christmas season here at Gunshine Arms.  If you ask most adults what their first rifle was as a kid, the majority will tell you a .22LR and most of those will say a Ruger 10/22.  The Ruger 10/22 Sporter is an upgraded version of the old classic. She comes with the Deluxe Checkered Walnut Stock and a 22″ Stainless Steel Barrel.  For the environment we live in here in sunny (and sometimes rainy) Florida, that stainless barrel is a nice option.  The extra 6″ of length will give you a little more reach when you are teaching the youngsters (who have much better eyes than we do) to shoot.
